Dr. Felicia P. Rodgers, LCSW, BCD, DAc., LAc. is a Doctor of Acupuncture and licensed Acupuncturist in the state of South Carolina and North Carolina. After pursuing a career as a psychotherapist for some 3 decades, she realized she wanted to support people’s healing processes in a more hands-on manner. Thanks to a serendipitous suggestion to explore Classical Chinese Medicine, she began her acupuncture journey at Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine, later earned a Doctorate from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and graduated in 2020. She had been mentored by renowned Dr. Edward Neal, MD, researcher and physician known for the study of nature based medicine, combining Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine to care for patients with complex medical illnesses. Dr. Felicia is most interested in the link between how psycho-emotional pain can manifest physically in the mind-body. She enjoys educating patients about the interconnected nature of their overall health. Dr. Felicia has a gentle yet firm healing style that she sees as a key component to patients experiencing better health. In her spare time, Dr. Felicia enjoys cubist art, music, and dance, and can usually be found within nature, being a Siamese cat mom, and continuing her work as a practicing herbalist and medicinal balm maker.
